Cheap amp upgrade

I ordered one small pedal part from Small Bear and figured to round out the order I'd get some new amp knobs (clear) to spruce up the Ross amp I got for free awhile back.

They remind me of those 70s clear acrylic guitars.

Maybe someday I'll re-do the grill.

Looks great! And personally I'd leave the grill cloth, it adds character.

Hmm, I think you're right, thanks!

I cleaned the pots out today, here's a shot of the guts. It's very simple, but sounds killer. I think the "magic" I like is on the second tiny PCB board. I took a peek under there and there's two little transitors - I think that's what's providing the onboard fuzz/gain that I dig.

Factoid: I guess Rory Gallagher used one for practice or something (http://www.rorygallagher.com/#/archives/amps/fame)

This lil' amp actually has a line out which is pretty neat, and I think I'll attach a little jack to be able to run it into a larger/better cab.

Use one of those Tide spot remover pens for clothes on the grille.

That's a funky @$$ cool little amp!

What a cool old amp. I had a Ross phaser for a long time (I got it for $10) that someone offered me a lot of money for.
