Cheap Blues Amp

Re: Cheap Blues Amp

And the HRD makes a very nice 1x12 cab:bling:
YUP ! I normally bring my Marshall 2204 clone head to gigs. (just in case the HRD goes tits up on me !) Next time my HRD starts acting up on me... I'm going to do this to it.:D

The HRD cabinet/chassis makes for a excellent P2P Tweed conversion (granted your tranny's aren't fried?) There is a guy named T.J. in Texas who has done a few of these conversions. He seems pretty cool,And willing to share his knowledge. Here is his website http://www.tjadamowicz.com/main.php

Re: Cheap Blues Amp

If you like the Epi and its mods I would go with that one. I just can't agree with all the Blues Jr love in here. They are overpriced and sound thin with that spreaker they put in the base one. Also the reverb could be better. I just played one for 1hr the other day waiting for it to heat up and sound better..............did not happen, sorry!

Re: Cheap Blues Amp

Other than the hum, I'm pleased with my valve jr. since it breaks-up without killing my hearing.
