I like my boss BD-2 . . . but I've done some simple mods to it to get it to the tone that I like. They're pretty cheap if you scour the local pawnshops (I think that I got mine for 45$).

I like this guy. I keep quoting him in all my posts lately. I like my Boss BD-2 stock also, although maybe it's not the best for a serious metalhead. I want to try the mods on it that GuitarStv sent me too. I have a reissue TS-808 that is like a never ending orgasm to play. It's kinda pricey though at maybe $100 or more new. (Don't even dream of getting an original from the '80's unless you don't need to pay rent next month).

Wow . . . I feel honoured . . . my own personal hype man! Try those mods that I sent you, it really did make a big difference to the pedal. I just plugged it back in and went "Wow!"
