I have always liked that esp f-400fm model, but i cant afford another 700$ guitar. the f250 is too much, and the f50 is lame and doesnt look as good.

i found a clone on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/New-electric-gu...79QQihZ015QQcategoryZ2384QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Ive never bought a guitar without playing it, but do you think if i got that and put in a seymour duncan custom and (2 other pickups im still deciding) would it be worth the 200$(+ added pups) ?

its made of basswood, 5 way switch, 2 humbuckers and 1 single coil. licensed floyd rose.

and would the floyd even be good enough for use?

the body just looks soo cool. i really really want it.

I've thrown some nice pickups (Duncan 59's, Custom Custom, and DiMarzio Air Zone) in to some cheaper guitars with great results. I also like the fact that not only did I improve the sound of the guitars by upgrading the pickups, I also don't have to worry about them as their not worth that much to begin with.

im new to floyd rose, since its licensed, does that mean its good and will work great?

i want a guitar with a tremolo bar.

There are good licensed Floyds and crappy ones. The Ibanez Edge is a good one, but *most* others suck.
