One thing in one button loopers I really can't get over is that you have to stomp it different ways, even twice, to do different things. It's just annoying and feels difficult. Especially when your keeping the rhythm.
Ideally start play/recording, stop and rewrite would all have separate knobs. Which you get with Ditto X2 or EHX 720 with the optional footswitch.
I have the simple $99.99 Ditto. And I really love it. It's so simple to use. Only downside is you have to buy a chord. I figured one day I would upgrade, but right now it does everything I need. So fun to play with. My buddy and I will record a rhythm track and take turns playing lead over it. It has really increased my playing skills.
