Cheap MM 2 humbucker 5 string?

Hey guys,
Looking for something to approximate a Stingray 5 HH or Sterling 5 HH. I could get the real things, but I'm not sure I'd use all the wiring options. I haven't decided on whether Alnico or ceramic is more me in a bass.

Any suggestions on a quality dual MM 5 string that I could mod with aftermarket pups?

Warwick makes a RockBass version of the Corvette $$ :

But AFAIK the german version of the Corvette $$ and Streamer $$ can be found quite cheap second hand

Are you thinking of MM as a pickup type or the whole body outline and neck profile thang?

Pickup type.

Sometimes I can't tell between a big soapbar and an MM, so I look for the three screws.
