Fender MIC Modern Player Strat. Picked it up on clearance for $299. I’ve seen them used for good prices. It’s a solid little Strat with a cool tinted neck and vintage-style tuners. It came with HSS in a black pickguard with a splittable humbucker. I gutted the electronics and did Texas Specials with seven-way switching.

Picked up a used 2004(?) Fender Lite Ash Strat (MIK) for $300 a few years ago, and modded it quite a bit. I love this guitar to no end.

The MIM sunburst I had , I got for 299 out the door used
It was an 2011 with the plastics still on the covers in 2012
