Cheapest pedal I ever bought turns out to be my favorite

I picked up a new Danelectro Chicken Salad off ebay for $19.99 and the little thing is a lot of fun to mess around with. I like this thing better than the EVH Phase 90 I had. Makes Bridge of Sighs sound a helluvalot more the way it should. Yippee for cheap, plastic, Chinese crap!

i like a lot of Danoelectro products... neat little toys...

I like my Danelectro Milkshake Chorus I bought on here for $3 shipped more than almost any other pedal I have. Just fun!

Re: Cheapest pedal I ever bought turns out to be my favorite

Speaking of milkshakes, I had the new Boysenberry one from Jack in the Box yesterday that was mighty good.

Yeah! I saw a sign advertising it and couldn't pass it up. These Danelectro pedals can sure make a guy hungry!

The Chicken Salad, Fish & Chips and French Toast are real gems in that line.

Yeah, their Green Eggs and Spam pedal is killer too. The Smoke and a Pancake, Bong and a Blintz, Pipe and a Crape, and a Cigar and a Waffle pedals are great too. I almost forgot, I like the "French Fried Pataters Ummm...hmmmm" pedal.

...but I'm actually serious, Rotating Speaker, EQ and Octavia. :)

The Fab Overdrive is one of the best sounding overdrives I've found, I picked it up for $9 out of a box at GC, figured I couldn't go wrong at that price. I'm thinking about remounting it in a decent metal box and putting it on my pedalboard.

My old Arions...have an old 80's chorus, my buddy is using it these days(he is a huge Landau fan)
Had an old Soundtank delay, a very sweet shortime delay!
Most of my Boss pedals also works rather well....but I tend to do things to them;)

Does it have a built in TS-9 option?

Some classic cheap awesome pedals:
Guyatone micros's
Dano's
Arions
The occasional soundtank
Washburn accelerators

Same here . . .

. . . my fav. boxes at the mo are some cheap'ish ones too (compared to the Moog Analog Delay of $600.00 and $450.00 for a H&K dirt box, my $65.00 DE7 & $55.00 Double Muff are FANTASTIC BARGAINS !!! :cool2:

Cheers

Cheap pedals I have that sound as good or beat the compitetion:
Belcat Chorus~ Best sounding non colouring chorus since I had a moment of stellar stupidity and sold my BLACK MXR stereo chorus on ebay

Danelectro Fish&Chips~(EQ) just as good a pedal as my old boss EQ,probably tastes really good with a milkshake, but I'll have mine with a Belcat to wash it down ;)

Arion Analog Stereo Delay (SAD1)~great little delay pedal, natural sounding ANALOG delay is the way to go!

Digitech Bad Monkey~ Hands down winner over the compitetion, this is a OD pedal, not a distortion and it is on the high end of cheap pedals($35 range) metal box, great non colouring overdrive/gain boost. Keep your tone, push your amp!

Re: Cheapest pedal I ever bought turns out to be my favorite

I've also got a Bad Monkey strictly to push the Fat Clean mode of my amp for the single coils. It helps to fatten them up. Humbuckers sound fantastic in the gain modes but single coils need a little fattening up, which the BM does nicely.
