I want to sell my 2x12 Fender hot rod deville. how do I ship it? Ups is really expensive. does anyone know another way? Thank you so much for your help I really apprciate it!

For actual shipping charges....Fed Ex ground has been the cheapest I've found for heavy items. I shipped my amp chassis to Jeff Seal to be modded, and it cost me $17 from Denver to Houston. I can't remember the exact weight, but it was around 20-25 lbs.
Go to one of their locations and get an estimate. Also, USPS is sometime pretty reasonable. I've found UPS to be the most expensive. You can have the UPS store just pack your amp, because they do a very good job at that, and then ship it elswhere.

I would go with Fedex, they have good rates and there packages almost always get to the destination without a scratch compared to UPS who always has to crush a corner or dent/scrape a side of the package before they nicely put it in front of your door. :evil:
