What the FU*K has gibson done!?!?!?! who the heck is designing these things and thinking that ppl are going to like them?!

Re: Check out Gibson's so-called "Game Changer"...

It's just a fancy Firebird or RD or whatever. I personally have never liked that shape, but if I stand on my head I kind of dig it. I like reverse Firebirds. Like I said though......it ain't me man.

Re: Check out Gibson's so-called "Game Changer"...

Henry Juszkiewicz started his own forum (here...http://4henry.gibson.com/) and asked everyone what they would like to see from Gibson. Almost to a person, everyone said "Forget the Robot stuff, go back to the basics."

Henry says "Just wait till you see what we've got coming." This was what he was reffering to.

Re: Check out Gibson's so-called "Game Changer"...

Bag on that guitar, but keep on telling me how beautiful a jagmaster or whatever it's called is.:smack:
It's a new Gibson. It sucks!!! None of us have even played it!!

Look, I don't dig the look, it's not me. But you can't bag on it's looks or anything else about it per se. It looks just like a freakin Fender that people rave about.

Wow, idiotic. Click on the specs on the site. Didn't guitars with built in effects die 15 years ago?

Re: Check out Gibson's so-called "Game Changer"...

Ain't the looks per se I'm baggin' on, rather the not-so revolutionary on-board effects and all that other garbage no one but collectors seem to want.

Not to mention the $500 price tag for a guitar that looks like an Epiphone. Honestly, the Zakk Wylde Graveyard Disciple is a classier guitar.

Re: Check out Gibson's so-called "Game Changer"...

The design says "Guitar Hero". I think they see the sales of the game going off the hook so they think they'll get all those kids into it with a guitar that looks like a toy.

I'm pretty sure Henry is completely separated from reality and I love Gibson's.

Re: Check out Gibson's so-called "Game Changer"...

Lol, they are calling it: 'the fireturd' rofl!
Gibson is smoking some good **** up there hahaha, all they have put out lately are overpriced abominations. Anyone seen the zoot suit yet? hahahaha...

Re: Check out Gibson's so-called "Game Changer"...

i love gibsons too but this is looking awful. the built in fx, rechargeable battery et al are just stupid. change isn't always good, you know Henry! For instance, if i saw my leg off tonight i'll have changed myself but tomorrow i'll have trouble standing while i pee.

Truth be told, I would take a Zoot Suit over this thing any day of the week, and I hate the Zoot Suit.

That's...weird.

I dunno, I didn't check the specs so I'm just judging it by how it looks. I think I might like it better in a solid colour. That burst looks like it belongs on something made by Fisher-Price.

Yeah, I thought instantly "that looks like plastic."

Re: Check out Gibson's so-called "Game Changer"...

$5500 MSRP. This isn't being marketed as a toy. On board effects, batteries....not for me and I don't think in general what people are looking for from Gibson. I am all for companies producing innovative products, but you have to listen to what the marketplace wants. If you're going to make a guitar like this, put it in the affordable range.

I don't like the looks anymore than a Jagstang or Mustang or anything else like that, but I guess some people may like it.

Re: Check out Gibson's so-called "Game Changer"...

The body style has a hint of potential? With the reverse meets non reverse morph. But they dropped the ball with the fretboard, Then fumbled the headstock! And whats with all the knobs ,and switches? It's like if Gibson asked you to loosely spec. a guitar. I'd say give me a nice slab of mahogany, w/t a TOM bridge, some mini buckers and trap inlay's. Than they hand you this! :smack:
