This is my Trinity Lightning build. All the amp parts were sourced from Trinity amps. Stephen, the owner of Trinity answered all my questions (some of them were pretty inane) when I was doing the build. Trinity provided a sizable booklet on the building of the amp as well as a schematic and a great layout. If you an amp building newbie I highly recommend Trinity. Stephen is great to work with. ScottF of this forum and the owner of Celtic amps also answered questions and gave me great advice.
The amp is a clone of a Matchless Lightning with a cut control modification. I gigged it the other night and it performed flawlessly and sounded incredible. There were no problems keeping up with the drums.
I constructed the head cab from plans that Stephen provided. I built it in my dads garage. I also did the tolex work. The colors of navy, white, and black piping were after BYU which is where I went to school. There is also a 2x12 cab in the works.
I apologize for the pics. For some reason the autofocus on my camera is jacked up.
Enjoy and feel free to give me a critique!
