What do you think of this guitar?

I like and don't like it at the same time. I think if it was slightly darker it would be perfect.

And now the binding question: Imagine a PRS type guitar that is the same green color. Would white binding (like on the LP in the pic) look good? Or would it stand out way too much and look strange?

personally, i dont like white binding on darker colored guitars, and i also dont like green guitars.....

wait till gearjoners sees this, he is gonna cream his pants

I'd buy that guitar. And yes, I did get excited when I saw this link. I love green guitars, but only the real cool dark rare shades of green. This one qualifies. Iguana burst is a great name too.

I'd probably prefer cream binding, but this guitar would give us
a great excuse to do something unique, buy Duncan
white/black zebras. I don't think I've ever seen a dark green
LP flametop with white/black zebras! Now, I'm really jonesin!

Lol..... Gearjoneser... what have I done????!!!!

Would you prefer it if it was slightly darker?

Well if you buy it I'm afraid you're gonna have to give me a cut for showing you that link. ;) *wishful thinking*

That Iguanaburst kinda' looks like the same green on the Music Machine Stinger JB R4's that someone on the LP Forum affectionaltely called "Frogblood."

Get it... Oxblood... Frogblood...

:help:

I like it, anyway.

Nick

The Geckoburst is an insult to the Iguanaburst!!!!!

This means war!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :argh:

:firing: :angryfire :rocket:

(gotta love these smileys...:18: )

I think it would look better if it had gold speed knobs or vintage amber tophats and whithe pickup surrounds and a white selector switch and plate. That black just seems to take away from it's beauty to me.

Iguana burst and PRS's teal black are my favorite greens.
I also like moss colored, but a person can only get away with
owning one green guitar. Funny this post came up around Saint Patrick's Day. I didn't drink enough to hit "Buy it Now"
