Now, if she can make PATB's in a color other than black I would be happy! IIRC, even the Custom shop does not do that!

You're only dating yourself if you said something like, "Remember those clear, acrylic Dan Armstrongs.., I saw one strapped low on Keith Richard's shoulders one night during the Rolling Stone's 197Sumthin' tour (he had just had that fabled blood transfusion 2 nights before, and it looked like you could see through him too), and it looked really wild with the stage lights zapping through it an all."

Actually Ampeg reissued the Dan Armstrong guitar just a couple of years ago. It even has the interchangable pickups too.
