Here it is folks, Is a figured purpleheart tele body with a purpleheart warmoth neck I am getting ready to inlay purpleheart dots into. I just have the dots sitting on top of the board right now to see how I like them. I decided, I like them alot!! I am going to do it.

Hahaha man ... don't ask me how long my home build is taking me (same way Home built body, warmoth neck) but in terms of months it's 26 and counting

Ahhh, so that's the purple heart wood you were talking about. Looks sweet, my girlfriend would love it! :laugh2: Looks like you got some cool flameage on the top there, a clear coat would really bring that out. Purple dot inlays? How 'bout some blocks? I know, more work but it would look cool.

It has taken a long time. I have just taken my time on it. I have had to buy the tools as I went also, that takes time to build up funds. Thats the main reason.

I actually just did a strat body for a buddy and I cut it out and routed most of it in about 4 hours.

I did the same thing, home built body, premade neck. Haha, I started almost three years ago and I just have to do the finish. I'm probably going to go with Tru Oil.
