"no offense" but you sound like a has-been to me. You are completely missing the point of music. It's not about technical perfection. Everyone aspires to improve themselves. I think you might be jealous of his ability at his age.

Technically amazing, bit I could only watch him for a bit > bores me after a while.

I saw Frank Gambale playing at the birmingham NEC a couple of years ago > same thing > people were walking out because there wasn't one single tune.

Yet after him came on Vinnie Moore and people were amazed > technically as proficient as Gambale but with the tunes to match :newangel:

It is pretty amazing IMO. The kid got the first two Paul Gilbert instructional videos and has learned every lick- that isn't too easy to do. Obviously, he isn't going to have the feel and emotion of Jeff Beck or Gary Moore at age 9.
