Hey all, i've decided to take the plunge on my first Matamp.

-2 WATTS (nominal output)

-POINT TO POINT hand-wired
-6V6 output tube
-ECC83 pre-amp tube
-POWER ATTENUATOR (control on back)
-2 INPUTS (HIGH and LOW)
-RECORDING OUT
-240/120v (externally selectable)
-built in GAIN BOOSTER, controlable via pot on the frontpanel and switchable via footswitch.
Custom options available:
-Vinyls, leather, hardware, knobs, panels and panel engraving.

I sooo cant wait, just deciding the final appearance options. Im thinking a green one, like this:

with that being the classic stoner thing, but i'm very tempted by this colour scheme:

nice amp!

green needs to be darker for my tastes. black and tan is very cool!

Dayum! That's freakin' schweet!

I'd say go with the classic stoner green, but that cream colour is pretty badass.

Nice! I'm leaning toward the green, but I love the red "attack" knob on the tan one.

Yeah, they dont make that amp anymore, which is a shame, because that attack control was very powerful. Thats the one i wanted to begin with, but even the 7 watts of that was too loud for using in my bedroom studio.

i always dreamed of getting a bunch of 4x12s from them and orange 1 in each color and use them all on stage stacked on eachother. that would look so cool lol. if you're going to go Matamp you have to get a wild color IMO so i say go with the green!

Yeah, i'm eventually planning on having a stage rig and a studio rig in some crazy multi-coloured combos from them, this is the first rung on the ladder!

I've had a blast on one of those, they are excellent amps, they get everything from Peter Green to early Metallica, all with that special Matamp signature tone, warm, fat and complex. My personal fave is still the GTL though. They are just so harmonically rich and complex, with big fat mids bass and a soft treble, its just an awesome amp.

Cool amp. I'd get it in orange, just because I love that colour. Green's a little too "stoner" for me as I like to be a little different....though I suppose that orange is pretty common too.

Yeah i know what you mean, the green is a bit too cliche stoner. I was thinking maybe red, with a black faceplate and red chicken head knobs and gold hardware?

I'm not a red guy myself but if you like it, go for it.

I think that white with a black faceplate is also cool.
