Chillin with the Celtic

Re: Chillin with the Celtic

Yeks!

Last time I saw that guitar it had SD Staples in it!
Now, it looks same as when I got it from Jolly.

Enjoy!

That was the 2011 give away for SD folks.
Now working on the giveaway for 2012…

Five years of giving to fellow musicians.

****, hope I'm alive in 2102. Good luck to all, you're winners in my book regardless of being dead.

It's great to see you making guitar noises again Robert! That Celtic looks fab, and I will have one in the future...

Steve, I cannot sing the praises of the Aedan highly enough. I stuck a EH 12ax7 in the #1 spot and the amp sounds incredible. It has such a huge range of tones from warm and round to chimey and sparkling. The overtones are to die for, so much character. It is singularly the most musical amp I have ever played on, period. Stellar cleans, killer pushed tones and more than enough gain to get most any job done. The best part is how well it takes to pedals. By setting the amp to just about breakup I can get it to clip by beating up the guitar and then a TS-9 pushes it over the top for a killer dirty rhythm tone. I hit it with a Fulltone OCD and it cuts heads but still keeps its character and touch sensitivity. Run the TS-9 into the OCD and I get searingly brutal hard rock/metal lead tones.

Tone heaven Brotha!

Hmm... an EH 12AX7? I've not tried one in a long time. I do like the EH 12AY7. I have to go through a few to find a quiet one normally. Gotta try one. What was in there? JJ or Tung Sol? I thought I sent some different ones. Old crappy memory.
