Basically I am stuck on what I want to buy this summer. I need to get a lower wattage tube amp or preamp that is very portable. I need something that can stand up to my dropped tuning metal madness but that can do ambient space rock at the same time. I have my laney lc-15R, but I haven't been totally satisfied with it after a year at college. I have been looking at the krank rev jr, matamp little rock, orange tiny terror, or an ENGL E530 preamp that I can run through my combo. Right now I am leaning towards the Engl preamp because I can run it through any of my amps or use it on its own. What do you guys think?
