The only thing bad about those Tone Lok pedals is the switch, which eventually goes bad. If you saw the the actual switching mechanism, you'd understand why.

Hence the reason I DON'T use one for the Flange on "Down Boys"

I use my trusty (re-switched, incidentally) Washburn...


But if you are not giving the CF7 the "boot"

Well, my wife looked at me and thought "Yeah. I'll go with that." So I guess there's just no accounting.......

Thanks everyone. Awesome suggestions and several good opportunities.

Based on the advice in this thread, I decided on an Ibanez CF-7 that I found for under $40. There were quite a few tempting boxes out there, but in the end the combination of money and flexibility won out.
