So I have been looking at 1956 pickups for my Brownie style strat project. I wondered what info / ideas/ opinions etc of the following sets. This is without touching on SD's, Fender 56 variation they offer and every other manufacturer!

MOJOTONE "LEE DICKSON BROWN-E"

Kinman Impersonator A56

Klein1956 Epic Series

I did read there was a "Layla" set Klein were producing but cant seem to find anything on them.

Thanks

I think you should consider giving the Mojotone option a try.

Since many builders get their parts from Mojotone, you know you're getting good components. They are also very easy to deal with and they have always gotten my orders out very quickly.

On top of that, they seem to be able to make pickups good enough to draw input from techs like Lee Dickson and Rene Martinez.
