They stock parts as used by fender but also cheaper parts from the same manufacturers
I wouldn't say they are counterfeit as they were not sold or packaged as fender parts

Without the spec, I do not know.What exactly was not to spec? I'm curious because there's only so much manufacturing variation in different models of these particular pieces, unless what you were sold was counterfeit.
For the record, all the CTS pots and CRL switches I use come from AllParts or in Fender retail package.
