Re: Clean long sustain
Thanks, to be honest it's a long story!
I first picked up a guitar at about 15 year old ( an old acoustic) and had lessons for around 12 months but never really got anywhere.
Because I couldn't master it in a few months i gave up (typical teenager! )
I always had the guitar in the house and would pick it up ever few years and plonk around on it for a few days then leave it for another 5 years or so !
During the last 2 or 3 years I had a problem with my hands (trigger finger) if I clenched my hand I couldn't re open my fingers.
I had shockwave therapy on my hands and it was expensive and not very successful so wondered if I picked up the guitar again it might help!
And it has (that was around November 2015)
I became totally addicted!
Went out and bought myself an American standard strat on new years eve (clapton signature strat)
I have always been a floyd/ gilmour fan and wanted to learn some of their stuff. (I have seen them 5 times) I now have 4 guitars, the strat and 3 acoustics, two 6 string and one 12 string .
I moded the strat for more of a Gilmour tone.
So, I had a little previous experience but not much, but now i can't leave them alone !
Anyway, I am going on a bit here so I will shut up and get back to learning the 2nd solo from comfortably numb !
Let me just say that I admire anyone who starts playing guitar (or doing anything totally new) as a full-grown adult! Takes a certain level of something to just say "Yep, I wanna learn how to do that" and just do it.
