Clean tube amps for church...

Suggestions on clean, all-tube amplifiers for church venues? Our church has a Peavey Delta Blues (the single 15" speaker version in black and blue checker), and I rarely can go above 2 on the master volume with the EQ flat-lined and the drive totally off. Cheap is one of the main selling points. I have yet to get my Fender Twin Reverb (1972) out of the shop. Requirements: one input is fine, effects in/out is fine but not needed. Needs to have maybe a reverb, some sort of tone modification (tremolo, chorus, etc), all tube, and have an extremely beautiful clean. Having a drive channel or a foot switch is nice but not necessary. We have those amp cradles that angle them up a bit, and use Sure SM57's close mic'd to the center of the amp.

Please, no solid state.

Also wanted: suggestions on a home practice amp that's all tube.

Champion 600 w/Tungsol Tubes upgrade. Limited by only having a volume control, but after playing through it I really don't need anything else.

I used to use a 70's Twin Reverb at my church back in the day, but the owner took it....I wish I could use it now...it'd sound so much better than SS fender they have now.
For my own stuff leading worship, I'd use my marshall but I hope to get a better amp in the near future.

also, maybe you could check out VOX?
The lead guitarist for Hillsong United uses an AC30 and he has great tone IMO

Get an AC30
I play at church too. Nigel Hendroff (the hillsong guitarist) has great tone I agree. But he also uses a ton of stompboxes...so I cant guarantee his exact tone or anything.
On the side, im going to be buying a vox amp very soon as well haha

I was talking about Michael Guy Chislett

He uses ac30's w/ various stompboxes, I think he has a jeckyl and hyde pedal, kinda cool.
Nigel hendroff uses a load of stuff, I think he has a mesa boogie nomad or an F-30, and rivera amp, and some rack stuff and a good supply of pedals.

AC30's are great amps, great clean tone and can get pretty dirty if you want. I especially like the tone off of United's new CD "All of the above" great songs, great message, great tone.

I liked their previous CD better musically really...but yeah the new CD is great too. I have both haha and the DVDs and stuff. Great band. Check out the AC30 dude...

get a /13 hehehe I love their cleans...my absolute favorite clean sound.

Just that I don't like playing on 2 and being obscenely loud (well, at least in church ).

Yeah he has some awesome sound. They're out of the church's price range, but maybe a lower price Vox AC15 will do the trick. Thanks.

Yeah, I'm thinking some day (tm) I'll have the two amps Seymour used to get the audio clips, and a Vox AC30. Basically the "one of each" idea

Yeah they are. He also uses some gretch guitars iirc. But anyways, yeah, his tone is awesome.
