Cleaning up cosmetic damage

Any recommendations for an inexpensive cleaner / polish that helps diminish the appearance of scrapes and scratches on the surface of the body?

3M plastic polish...

I am sure any mild polish would do the same, bu that is what I use.

I use polishing compound with a light cut compound pad.

Jethro Dull, LOVE your user name!!! I cant think of the name of it, but I bought some stuff online that is a color tinted polish for guitars with scratches and you can order it in a few diff colors. It worked pretty well to both shine and mask some of the light scratches. Ill try to see I can find the name.

I've wondered the same thing. My ibanez shred stick took a fall off a stand and landed on my small clone. The foot switch cracked the clear coat. I don't think it's something I can fix
