Clear Combo

All,

Ok, here we go again, this time I think I have it. How about a Jazz neck with a Custom 5 bridge? Both claim to be "clear" sounding, which should do well for my intents and purposes (clear chorusy sounds on a ESP LTD dual humbucker with maple top, agathis body, rosewood fingerboard). Anyone tried this combination? Thoughts? Comments?
