Just won on ebay. Great neck on this thing.
Upper fret access sucks compared to my Ibanez 7.
Guitar is almost stock, has a volume control for each pickup, and no tone control.

This is just a couple of song ideas (spur of the moment) and the drums are admittedly boring.

Let me know what you think of the tone and mix. I haven't decided if I need to replace the duncan designed pickups in this yet.

Great Riffing and harmony!I liked the concept but not the tone.Needs more punch!I think there is lack of dynamics ,maybe new PU's would do it!

More punch and tighter sound. This Duncan Designed pickup is kind of weak sounding, but bright. I am going to try and wire a tone control in the circuit, so that I can make a better choice for pickup...Right now I'm thinking either an invader7 or a DropSonic7. Other suggestions would be appreciated as well.

Definitely more metal tone with the Ibby.

You like the Schecter 7 neck? I played a C-7 Hellraiser maybe a month ago, & the thing was like a baseball bat.

Yep, but this is one of the older bolt-on ones with the weird headstock,
It's only a little fatter than the Ibby.

Not yet. Don't have a camera.

It's a normal C-7 body shape, with a fixed bridge (no Tuna-matic) and the same headstock of the Avenger7 only not reverse. I'll try and get a pic soon.

Interesting!I would have more kick ,and more presence on guitars.But that's personal taste!The song is totally different sounding now ,and it's much better now i think!I love the amosphere alot!Good job!

I've really been focusing on drums/bass/guitar low end not conflicting with each other. I agree that the guitar tone needs some work.

do you have pro-semo orp monitors ,or how do you mix?It can be a PITA if you mix with Headphones or any other Hi-FI sound system.I have to mix on Hi-fi speakers,and beleiev em .it sucks!

Yep. It sucks.
This old stereo I have my computer hooked up to has a fairly flat response setting, but you can't tell if you're putting too much bass in the mix.
I'm getting better, but pro monitors would help alot.

That's why i mix allways with 3 sources.with my stereo thing ,with my headphones ,and record/replay Minidisc check!
