I bought this a few yrs back. It was the last one Gtr Center had, and they were blowin' them out because of the Guild take-over. I didn't buy the case, because I had planned to use one of my hollowbody gigbags if I ever transported it. Basically, I was planning on it being a back-up gtr to my 1957 Gibson 175. Fortunately for the future buyer, it never left the house. On the way back from the store, I dropped by my luthiers, who did a once over on the frets to make sure it was cool. This cost me around $80. I have the receipt somewhere, & can include a copy. The luthier is actually Pat Metheny's luthier, so the guy's kinda good.
Anyway, this gtr is fabulous. If I didn't need to make-up some $ due to my 50's gibson habit, it would be staying.
It has a wonderful warm jazz sound. Think Kenny burrell, George Benson, Pat Metheny, etc.
These gtrs are very well thought of. Do an internet search. The pick-ups are held in very high regard too. Very warm sounding PAF type.
Gtr does NOT include a case. I have a few nice gtr shipping boxes & i will bubble rap this gtr sooooo much, that you could throw it off a roof without it even scratching.
$525 shipped. As of right now, this price is firm. No trades please.
Sorry for the crappy pix w/ the relections & shadows, but you get the point.
