i saw the show ... very cool ... ugly guitars, but sweet tone .. and Paisley can PLAY!! ... he has very nice phrasing and melodic development, more refined than mayer (who is no slouch in the 'unrestrained blues' dept. himself) ... and damn can Paisley sing too ... such solid pitch and articulation and overal 'quality' ..

the acoustic set had nice sound too .. paisley's larivee and mayer's martin both sounded incredible ... and the chops were rock solid

it doesn't matter how many times it is rerun, i don't get cmt. oh well. maybe i will see a little bit of it sometime or hear it at least.

It was very interesting. I recorded it on Tivo to study a little more. I have been a fan of Paisleys playing for a while now... it is so raw yet melodic. I am considering ordering a Dr Z like he uses. Yes they were some ugly ass guitars :smack:
