Coil Split dilemma

I have a Strat with a HotRails and 2 singles- 2 tone and 1 vol. I want to change the tone pot under the center knob to a push pull and use the new switch to split my HotRails. I wired the tone part just like before, but I'm not sure how to wire the switch as all the examples I have seen do NOT include a 5 way switch and I want to keep it too. Any Ideas?
thanks

Just attach the red and white wires from the hot rails together and then to the switch so that when you throw the switch they are connected to ground. Lew

My switch has 6 contacts- 3 and 3. so I don't understand where on/off is. I thought it would be simple- Oh well
thanks

Leave your five way switch alone and either add a on/on mini switch or change a tone control to a push/pull pot. Lew

thanks Lew, I'm pretty sure I know what to do now. I have a push/pull tone pot and I can do what you suggested.
thanks
