Hi, im building a superstrat with a humbucker in the bridge and a stacked single in the neck. i am wiring it with a master vol and tone and a 3 way switch ( bridge, both, neck). i want to coil tap both pickups and want to put an on-off-on to switch in the circuit. will this switch be able to give me these options? on (bridge split)-off-on (neck split) thanks also if anyone may have a schematic or diagram for this would appreciated, thanks!

Re: Coil Tap question

I think you might be lucky there. A typical DPDT switch is actually 2 separate 3 pole switches in one. If you wire the pickup split wires (not tapping!!) to the 2 middle lugs (1 pickup each side), then the opposite diagonal lugs should be wired to ground. That way you'd get 1 pickup only split in either of the two outer switch positions. Make sure there are NO contacts between either sides of the lugs (except for the ground, that could be wired together)
