ok, let's see if I have this right...
my guitar has a three position switch..both pups in there now are four conductor...
when I put the switch in the middle position I get the inner coils of both pickups workign in tandem to get that 'fender' type single coil twang
let's say I replace the bridge with a four conductor and the neck with a braided ( I guess that would be two conductor?? not sure what it's called) pickup that's NOT four conductor
I should still be able to still get the bridge pickup wired so that it can be coil tapped, working by itself right? which will REALLY give that fender type of twang for cleans...
and the first and third positions on the switch would work as usual..
is this correct?
