Just to confirm, for wiring a humbucker in series, it doesn't really matter if it's the black or the green that's grounded, right? (as long as the other one is the hot)

Nope. It does matter if you want it in phase with other Duncans, though.

It's just a H-S configuration, so shouldn't be a prob.

if you plan to split the humbucker
you could get the adjustable coil instead of slug coil or vice versa
