Combo amp on budget

Hi, I'm looking for new combo amp and my budget is about 300$... I know I can'get much for this price but ok.
I've also been loking Fender Mustang Head which is cheap and 150W... So how good would be sound from head only?

You get no sound from a head only; you need a speaker cabinet to go with it.

$300 should get you a great used Peavey Classic tube amp
or any number of Great solid state amps

I have the champion 20. I really like it, and it's not bad with pedals. I would not scoff at a 2x12 100W version.
Like a Fender Mustang IV but much simpler (I don't need deep editing or 100 presets) and the looks are more classic fender.

You could use the ZT to push a full stack if at some point you so desired.

Quick search of used amps, saw plenty of Peavy valve king 1x12s and a few Jet City 20w 1x12s
