you are weakening to the temptation.... go on... do it......

I have to ask.. What does it mean by op amps?
An opamp is an electrical device used to boost signals (gain in the technical sense). They are comprised of multiple transistors and are more stable and easier to design with than single transistors.

The original Big Muff used four transistors and clipping diodes. (For reference, a Fuzz Face uses two transistors and no diodes, the later Tonebenders use three transistors and no diodes) After the various “Triangle” and “Rams Head” models they changed the design to use opamps rather than transistors. Opamps are widely used in overdrive and distortion pedals.

Finally got mine in on Friday, I love it. Sustain on about 1-2 o'clock and tone between 10-12:00 and the neck pickup on my Tele and it nails the Siamese Dream tone.

^ He says that he recorded 6 tracks. I’m pretty sure you have nailed the tone.
