Comparisions on humbuckers

I'd like to get some feedback on the differences between a SD 59, Pearly Gates, and Antiquity (which I have now). I'm thinking primarily the neck pu in a semi-hollow body.

Listening to the samples on the SD site I can't here a lot of differences. It be great if anyone had some sound clips of these pu's in clean and dirty mode.

I'd also like to know how the gibson classic's (which I also have) compare to these.

Thanks,
Rut

Re: Comparisions on humbuckers

the 59 has a kinda scooped mid, big bottom, clear top thing going on
the pgn has more mids, smoother but still prominant highs and a softer bottom
the antiquity has a richer warmer tone than the pearly gates, less high mids and a more balanced tone
the gibson 57 classic has more mids than the 59 but isnt as warm as the other two. its my least favorite of the four you mentioned and not because its a gibson rather than a duncan, i like the burstbucker 1/2/3 better than the duncan 59, but the antiquity and pearly gates are two of my all time favorite pups and i have both in guitars that i really enjoy playing

as far as the samples, the better speakers you have and the more critically you listen the more difference youll hear. remember that you are hearing the same guy playing the same licks thru the same amp and settings with the same guitar ect... all the difference is the pups and you are talking about vintage style humbuckers which are all slight variations on a similar theme. that said i think there is some noticable differences
