Complex HSH wiring

I have a HSH custom guitar with a 5 pos switch, 1 V, 1 T and 2 on/on DPDT switches. What I would like to do is to have the switches control series/parallel for the buckers, but also have auto splits in the 2/4 positions (inner coil of humbucker and middle pup).

Is this possible?

If so, can someone show me the detail of the wiring, especially the DPDT and 5-way parts.

which 5 position switch do you have? if it is the right kind of '2 pole' switch, you can get autosplits ... i am not sure that an on/on DPDT can do series / parallel ... i thought you need on-off-on DPDT for that ....

Ah, well thats probably why things aren't working properly then. The guitar had coil splits before so I assumed it would work for series parallel.

on-on will work for series/parallel (one DPDT switch per pickup)

That wiring works with both kinds of DPDT switches -
on/on gives you series/parallel
on/on/on gives you series/split/parallel

I've got a 'normal' 5-way switch with 4 poles on each side.

super 5way
has two wafers and two separate poles per wafer

regular five way
single wafer wit a pole on either side

you can see in the last image how the switch works
the tall terminal is common and touches the pole in every position
and as the switch moves....etc....

Yes, its the last one. Single wafer with pole on each side

well the auto split thing is here
the series parallel is a separate thing
let me hunt that up
