Component quality and durability in amps

Since i plan on getting that 65 twin reissue, i might be considering swapping out the electrolytics and the tone caps when the warranty is up. I hear they're really small and sensitive and could be prone to damage over time, unlike heavy duty sprague or xicon caps.

Does the quality of a capacitor affect tone in any way in an amp, as long as you have the same value?

yes they can affect sound. get decent quality name brand components and you can rarely go wrong.
