Convert Jagmaster to Jaguar?

I scored a 90's MIJ Vista series Jagmaster for cheap. Not really feelin' the humbuckers or the Strat tremolo. Plus the pickguard is damaged, so I was thinking... how difficult would it be to modify it to be similar to a Jaguar (Jaguar trem and single coils)? Minus the switches, not really worried about that.

A Jaguar 'guard will have cut-outs for the pickups and metal control plates. It should also have a neck heel cut to accommodate a 24" scale neck.

You may do better to order a 'guard in the Jazzmaster outline. Request no drillings. Make those yourself. Alternatively, suppliers like Warmoth should be able to make exactly what you require … at a price.

For a number of reasons, I advise against converting to the floating vibrato tailpiece and bridge.
