Cool Pedal: Lovepedal Les Luis

I just picked up a Les Luis from Proguitarshop.com. It sounds really nice through both a BF Fender and a Victoria tweed clone. Depending on one's point of view, it may or may not truly be a "tweed in a box," but it is a great low to medium gain pedal that can do a variety of styles well. I may try to record a few clips but there is a nice video here: http://proguitarshop.com/store/over...-pedals-c-6_303/lovepedal-les-lius-dual-p-165

I like BF Fender clean and like to do the "Marshall/Vox/whatever in a box" to get a different variety of sounds and I don't think I will be looking for another tweedy sounding pedal.

Rock on and happy holidays!

Re: Cool Pedal: Lovepedal Les Luis

this was a very interesting looking, and great sounding pedal when it came out ... and it was selling for a little over $200 in the first hand-wired versions

Re: Cool Pedal: Lovepedal Les Luis

I am not sure what the difference is in the versions but as far as I am concerned this thing is a bargain for $150. I really have no experience with Lovepedal but I will have to check out the rest of their stuff.

Re: Cool Pedal: Lovepedal Les Luis

I seriously considered getting one when I first saw them for $150. Then I just decided, "how many overdrives do I NEED?" :)
(I have a LOT of overdrive pedals.)

that said, the description sounds like just my kinda pedal, so I'd probably still think about it

as far as the different versions .... I have handwired and smd versions of the Eternity, and IMO, the SMD sounds as good, if not better, than the handwired version.
SMD was just a decision he made to produce consistent pedals to keep up with the demand, and keep prices competitive. Plus, he still produces HW limited runs for those who want them.
