I'll be coming up early November if you want a special guitar.
I bought this in the mid 1980's at a shop in Atlanta Georgia. In 1996 my boat wrecked and this guitar was on board, it spent around 18hrs in the sea, caught in the surf and given a brutal beating. The neck was unsavable. I replaced the neck with a really nice aftermarket and installed new electronics, bridge, ect. There is a Benedetto pick up in the neck position that cost me $160 (in 1997). The black walnut pickguard I made and the finish on the body of the guitar is also mine. I hate to part with this guitar, it's given me 100's of hours of fine music and I think I earned a few bucks playing professionally too. I am a bassist really.
The strings should be replaced- they are heavy flats and have upset the intonation. Money back if not satisfied. trade for a good harmonizer or bass bow.

What do you think? $500 for all that ocean mojo + ultra-amateur modding is a great deal, right? Right?

Re: Cool story, bro

Next time I list something, I think I'm going to make up the most preposterous story I can think of, just to amuse myself.

And, I'll take the dumbest pics possible. I still miss that guy on Ebay who used to take pics of his gear surrounded by Godzilla toys. LOL

Re: Cool story, bro

My main question is why his guitar was on a seafaring vessel? I can only hope his band was shooting a sweet music video and then they crashed the boat.
