Cornford amps aren't making my life any easier

Re: Cornford amps aren't making my life any easier

That looks like a cream chassis Mk50... I like Cornfords, they have their own sound. Have you heard Guthrie Govan through the Hellcat? Or Jamie Humphries on his MK50? Great sounds indeed. The MK50II will be my next amp me thinks!

i love the Cornfords i've tried at a guitar show.... you don't see them that often around Toronto... special order i guess thru a select shop or something...

what is that red knob Fender head below the Cornford...?

IIRC, Matchbox Twenty were early endorsees and if it's good enough for them, it's probably good enough for most people :)

Big fan of Howe's playing, but that Cornford rig sounds tubby and a bit overendowed in the lower mids. Sounds like a few clicks too many on the hotplate. To be fair, Greg seems to have broken the treble knob off at 1 on every rig he's used since using a borrowed Marshall on his first album...

I'd still love to hear Cornford amps for myself. A friend whom I trust on matters tone says I'd really like the mk2, and I saw one in a video demo of the bad cat leash that sounded great.

I'm GASing for a Hurricane.

Luckily i have no need for a head otherwise the Mk50 II would be high up there.
