If the amp was MUCH cheaper, i would have looked into the RK 100 sig head !

I don't know how far Cornfords have spread outside of the UK. They are truly great amps and I believe they are the best amps being made in the UK today. I have the Roadhouse combo and it is a real joy to play. Bear in mind that in this demo the master volume is on 1. The amps just gets better as you turn it up. When the power stage starts to cook at about 4 it is a very sensual experience the way the amp responds to playing dynamics even with loads of gain.

I saw Guthrie and Dave Kilminster playing through them recently and it was killer. I tried most of their amps and owned a few, and if I had enough cash around I would have got a Hurricane 18 watt combo instead of the Marshall. They are loud as hell and tone to die for.

I can only second this sentiment, I got a Harlequin last year and wished I'd have done it years ago, instead of messing about with cheaper amps and tweaking them. Cost me more in the long run.

The MK50 is amazing. I very nearly got one myself but it's far more amp than I need. The Roadhouse suits me better being 30 watts and reasonably portable although it's very heavy for a 1 x 12 combo.

I want to play one of those rigs badly. Listening to several clips those might actually give my Zinkys a run and that is saying someting!
What kind on $$ on the Cornfords? A Zinky Blue Velvet 25 combo like mine is around $1700 USD and a Superfly a little over $3000. I have a Velvet 25 and a Zinky designed Fender Prosonic.

Here's a few pics of my current amp ..... and then the ones I've owned. Hope this helps with the G.A.S, you could say I'm a Cornford-ologist! Lol... an Hurricane combo and a R.K Head is on my list in the future... and maybe another Hellcat!
