CORT GB34 -- best replace pickup ??

i have an CORT GB34A.

Wich are the direct replace for each pickup?

For bridge??? SMB4a or SMB4a Three coil?

For neck??? its ok an Sjb-2???

Welcome to the forum.

I very much doubt that the Cort GB34A is routed to accept the three coil Musicman style pickup. Also, there is no provision in the stock control circuitry for switching between the various possible pickup coil permutations. Go with the regular SMB-4A.

The Jazz Bass style pickup ought to be the shorter, neck position type. Measure the plastic cover from end to end to make certain of ordering the correct replacement. SJB-2N should answer the brief. The stacked coil STK-J2N is noise-cancelling.

Have a look at the GB4 model. That comes with Basslines as standard, as did my gb-94 when I bought it. I'm pretty sure mine has the same selection as the GB4 and they sound just fine to my cloth ears.

The regulation GB34A is definitely Powersound pickups. Essentially, the GB34 with added 2-band active EQ.
