Jo Lewis is a singer songwriter I'm playing bass for at the moment (while not bluesing it up with Johnny and the Sunshine Band) and her self funded debut album is coming out on the 16th of October.
The first recording from the album is now up on her myspace page as is called Couch.

It is great stuff to work on. It gives me a good amount of freedom to do things I don't normally do, at the same time it needs restraint and control that I'm also not used to.

It's also a great little collection of musicians. Very simple line up. Jo on guitar and vocals, a top drummer called Adam, the Violin is a chap called James and then there's yours truly on bass. The reason it works for me is that we all seem to be on the same wave length, which is very rare.

Next month we get to play some of it live... which I'm really looking forward to.
