Could this work?

Dual HB, Fake Les Paul:

Three way switch + four pots, as per usual.

Would it be possible to to configure it so that I have a master volume, a blend pot for pickup selection, and individual tone control and then use the three-way toggle to select parallel-series-split on both pups?

I have to admit little knowledge of the actual mechanics of this sort of work, so apologies if this is a really stupid question.

Re: Could this work?

I believe you can do it all, except the series/split/parallel, on two pups with one switch. Although, there's even an exception to that. I believe its AllParts, or someone, that sells a 4PDT on-on-on switch, (essentially, two 3-ways, in a single housing), that might work for that. Its plastic case is a bit larger, of course.

I'll see if I can round up the exact link.

Re: Could this work?

Can you split one pickup with a regular toggle? I've always seen those mini switches when you split. I'd like to put a regualr toggle on my SG-X. It would look better than the mini switch.

Re: Could this work?

That would be quite useful, thank you.

When you mention that the plastic case if a bit larger, does that mean that a) it would LOOK bigger on the top of the guitar or b) that it would take up more space inside the guitar, perhaps even to the point of needing to be routed or c) both?

Bigger on the inside of the guitar . . . kinda like this:

You can split two pickups with one switch, you just can't do series/split/parallel with one switch. The parallel mode requires most of the terminals of a DPDT. ;)

Re: Could this work?

So is that the one you were thinking of? The EP_4362-000? For $24, I sure hope that my tech can figure out how to make it work. Appreciate your help, Artie.
