Could you find an amp here that makes you happy?

I remeber the conversation 22 years ago
when i told my bandmate that modeling amps were the next big thing and soon bands wouldn't be lugging all that gear around

Modeling amps and electronic drumset
PA and done

My current live rig is a Boss GT-8 into a SWR California Blonde. It would honestly take some getting used to going back to a real tube amp for loud stuff.

That's me. Modeler and my own PA.

Peavey Amps I have owned:

1979 Peavey Classic Tremolo/Reverb; Would be a great country/blues amp. Wish I still had it. Loud enough for distortion pedal into clean for rock/metal
1980-ish Peavey Backstage 20 watt: Sucked
First series (Silver) Peavey Transtube Studio Pro: Amazing Solid State amp. Great clean, light break up, metal sounds all around.
Another Silver Peavey Express: Slightly better version of Studio Pro - currently own.

Have played a crap ton of 5150's - LOVE them. One of my top 3-4 heads for "my" sound.

I have played Bandits of every type since the early 80's. Nothing but love.
