Out of curiosity. If anyone has any advice on any of these, feel free to chime in and thanks in advance for your help.
(1) Anybody ever put both Antiquity buckers and Pearly Gates in the same guitar? Not at the same time, more of an A/B question. What practical differences did you find?
(2) Anybody ever put P-Rails in a Tele? If so, what kind of wood combo was it and what kind of feedback do you have?
(3) What full size bucker would have the closest sound to a Hot Rails? (Seems like a ridiculous question, doesn't it? Which full size bucker sounds closest to a SC size replica of a full size bucker?)
(4) The JD Tele pickup is based on his 52 Tele and the Custom Shop 53 Tapped JB Tele pickup is based on a 53. I have heard that they sound nothing alike. Was there really that much difference in the guitars made in those two years or just a practical difference in the two different types of sounds that these particular two created?
