Couple of Tunes

Here's a couple of tunes we recorded last year. "Wake Up" was done in my music room at home with two condsers on the room and has our original bassist. My chain was 1978 Les Paul Custom>>Boss Me-50>>Epiphone Valve junior.

"Attempeted Blues" was done in the newer bassist's home studio with a new vocalist. My chain on this one is LP>>Boss>>Music Man Hd-150>>4x12 with 3 Celestions and one Music Man speaker.

These were done quick and dirty to have a "live" demo for getting gigs.

This band is not alive anymore...now I play with the drummer and the bassist
on the tune Wake Up and we call ourselves The Set.

Wadya think? Be honest...I know I ain't anything special, so I can take it.

Re: Couple of Tunes

That's Sammie...she's gonna go places...her uncle is Drew Emmit from Leftover Salmon, a huge group here in Co.
I personally would rather be in a band with Kristi, the singer in "Wake Up"...she's way more gutsy, and that's what I like in vocals.

Re: Couple of Tunes

Wake-up is a cool song!Your tone has a strong-deep grunt!
I like the rawness alot:D
Yeah she had more "straight and strong" voice...
But that's not sweet heheh :D

Re: Couple of Tunes

Thanks!! That's a great description of the tone i go for with an amp like that.

You're so right about Kristi, bro. Good thing grunt and soul are more important to me than sweet and pretty.:headbang:
