Couple Questions

Question The 1st.) Is it possible to put ordinary strat pickups into a Fender Cyclone II (Bridge)

Question The 2nd.) If you can, which is the better pickup an SJBJ-1 jb jr., or a SHR-1 hot rails. I like bands like QOTSA, Nirvana, Opeth, Incubus, The Rolling Stones, In Flames, and Pantera (Some of the heavier bands I like, should give a good idea what I'm looking for)

I've been playing guitar for about 2.3 years now and I find the pickups on the cyclone II to be way to bright, they also sound bad with high gain, which is why I'm replacing the pickups.

Answer The 1st.) Yes

Ansewr The 2nd.) If you're amp has enough gain on tap, I'd go with the Jb Jr. It's a bit more versatile and open sounding than the HR.
