Cover Replacements for Classic Stack Plus

I have a White neck and middle and for a project guitar would prefer they were black. Are covers available for them, or are they not replaceable?

You have no choice but to get new black pickups.
If cars where invented by pickup makers we would still drive Ford Model-T...

Even if you could get the glued cover off, the coils would probably be damaged in the process. Also, standard single coil covers wouldn't fit, anyway.

I never said to get the glue cover off.

And I never said that it's a bad design not being able to fit standard single coil covers. SD could have come with its own replacement covers for STK pickups. Dimarzio is doing so for their single coil size humbuckers.

IMHO with today's technology it would be possible to create a pickup with a half-thickness glued cover and additional half-thickness covers of different colours and textures. Those will equate the current thickness.

To be fair, you can't change the cover of any of the current Stacks or little humbuckers.

Well, I won't be purchasing new pups because of a color. I have too many new pickups retired already, including a StraBro 90 and on and on. I might give the 15 year-old artist in the house a really small brush and a batch of dye.

And if cars were invented by any other stringed instrument maker, we would still drive a horse amd carriage

It seems like you are very relictant to changes...
You remind me accountants I'm working with who still think an abacus is the best thing on earth.

Actually I'm a little bit of a change enthusiast. Change isn't always necessary, but it is the one path to growth.

You could always spray paint them. You'd lose the Duncan logo. I, myself, wouldn't do that. I love the Duncan logo on my pups.
